These terms govern your use of FairRoofQuote.com. By using this site, including submitting a quote request or reading the content, you agree to them. The key things to understand upfront: FairRoofQuote is a lead generation site, not a roofing contractor. We connect homeowners with contractors through our partner Networx but are not responsible for contractor conduct, pricing, or the outcome of any roofing project. The cost estimates on this site are indicative ranges based on national averages, not binding quotes.

1. What FairRoofQuote is

FairRoofQuote.com is an independent lead generation and informational website. Its purpose is to help homeowners connect with local roofing contractors for free quotes, and to provide general educational content about roofing costs, materials, and decisions. FairRoofQuote is not a roofing contractor and does not perform any roofing work. We are not a party to any agreement between a homeowner and a contractor. We do not employ, supervise, or represent any contractor in the Networx network. When we refer to "FairRoofQuote," "we," "us," or "our" in these terms, we mean the operator of this website.

FairRoofQuote earns a referral fee from Networx, Inc. when a homeowner submits a qualifying quote request through this site. That fee is paid by Networx, not by the homeowner, and does not affect the price contractors charge for their work.

2. Using this site

By using FairRoofQuote.com, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and are using the site for lawful purposes consistent with these terms. When you submit a quote request, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information about yourself and your roofing project.

You agree not to:

Submit false, misleading, or fictitious contact or project information through the quote request form.
Use the quote request form for commercial lead generation purposes or on behalf of another business.
Scrape, copy, reproduce, or redistribute any content from this site without prior written permission from FairRoofQuote.
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with any part of this site.
Attempt to interfere with the operation of this site or the systems that support it.
Use this site in any way that violates applicable federal, state, or local law.

FairRoofQuote reserves the right to block access to any user who violates these terms or who misuses the quote request service.

3. The quote request service

When you submit a quote request through this site, your name, contact details, address, and project information are transmitted to Networx, Inc., who operate the form and maintain the contractor matching network. Networx will attempt to match your request with up to 3 licensed contractors in their network who serve your area and job type.

FairRoofQuote makes no guarantee that:

You will receive any specific number of contractor contacts following your submission.
Any contractor who contacts you will provide an accurate, competitive, or complete quote.
Any contractor is currently licensed, insured, or in good standing in your state at the time they contact you, although Networx vets their network and removes contractors that generate complaints.
Any roofing work quoted or performed will meet any particular standard of quality or completeness.

The contractors who contact you are independent businesses. They are not employees, agents, or representatives of FairRoofQuote or Networx. Any contract you enter into for roofing work is solely between you and the contractor. FairRoofQuote is not a party to that contract and has no responsibility for its performance, terms, or outcome.

If you have a dispute with a contractor you were matched with through this site, that dispute is between you and the contractor. FairRoofQuote does not mediate contractor disputes and has no authority to compel any contractor to take any action.

4. Cost estimates and calculator

This site includes a cost calculator that generates indicative price ranges for roofing projects based on user inputs and national average data. These estimates are provided for general planning purposes only.

Estimates are not quotes. The figures generated by the calculator are not binding offers, not contractor quotes, and should not be treated as the basis for any financial, contractual, or insurance decision. Actual costs depend on factors that cannot be assessed remotely, including local labour rates, roof condition, pitch, complexity, number of existing layers, and material availability in your area.

Always obtain in-person quotes from licensed contractors before making any roofing decision. FairRoofQuote accepts no liability for decisions made in reliance on calculator estimates.

5. Informational content

The guides, articles, and educational content on this site are provided for general informational purposes only. They are reviewed by a licensed roofing contractor and reflect general industry knowledge, but they are not a substitute for professional advice tailored to your specific roof, location, or circumstances.

FairRoofQuote makes no warranty that the informational content on this site is current, complete, error-free, or applicable to your situation. Roofing costs, material availability, building codes, and industry practices vary by location and change over time. Content that was accurate when published may not reflect current conditions.

Any roofing work performed, not performed, or performed defectively by any contractor you are matched with through this site; any injury, death, property damage, or financial loss arising from your use of this site or your engagement of any contractor; any inaccuracy in cost estimates or other information provided on this site; any failure by a contractor to contact you, provide a quote, or complete agreed work; or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind arising from your use of or inability to use this site or the quote request service.

FairRoofQuote's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of this site shall not exceed the amount, if any, you paid to access it. Since the service is free to homeowners, that amount is zero.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain types of damages. In those jurisdictions, FairRoofQuote's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Governing law

These terms of service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of FairRoofQuote.com shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
